DIFFUSER PIPE:
* A diffuser is a device that utilizes a part of kinetic energy of the fluid passing through the machine by gradually increasing the cross sectional area.
* Diffuser pipe provide energy dissipation and modification of the noise spectrum for easier attenuation
* Diffuser creates a back pressure on the valve
* By increasing pressure drop at the inlet diffuser does not affect the required diameter of the vent silencer
* Operating pressure is directly proportional to the mass flow through the diffuser
CHAMBER:
* A chamber is an expansion unit or section
* Chamber is a setup where the fluid flow enters the acoustic infill absorption area
SHELL:
* Shell is designed based on the mass flow rate of the steam
* Shell thickness maximum 6 to 8 mm
* Materials used for shell are SA516 GR70, SA36, SA240 TP304 based on design and customer requirement.
